Maria Markusjan

Maria is responsible for Citi Ventures’ fintech investing activities in Europe. She has always been passionate about early-stage investing, and previously founded an inventory optimization software company (which raised a Series A round) before becoming an active angel investor and eventually running her own venture investing syndicate. Maria is a Swedish national and studied at the Stockholm School of Economics. After graduating she joined the TMT / Industrials M&A team at Goldman Sachs in London, and most recently she spent her time on the Special Situations and Private Equity teams at EQT and Hg.
